About the event
AquaConnect is an NWO-funded research project that focused on researching new approaches to water management that is needed to make freshwater provision in the Netherlands more resilient to climate change and economic and societal developments (www.aquaconnect.nu). The research in AquaConnect was performed by 17 PhD-students, postdocs and engineering doctorates, in collaboration with more than 35 societal partners. AquaConnect further connected to over 15 real-life pilot projects, demonstrations and field sites. During the final symposium:
