Seed Call

During the conference we will work on five thematic subtracks, based on the themes for this year's Seed Call.

The Institute 4 a Circular Society- offers a Seed Fund tailored for circular initiatives. This includes projects geared towards laying the groundwork for initial research, enabling the pursuit of larger grant applications, or activities that bolster the preparation for such applications.

Are you a researcher at TU/e, WUR, UU or UMCU and passionate about advancing circular solutions through interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research? Then this is your opportunity to team up with EWUU colleagues, develop collaborative projects and drive impact in the pursuit for a circular society.

The full Seed Call is published on the institute 4 a Circular Society website.

What is a Seed Call?

With Seed Calls, i4CS:

  • Initiates and supports innovative ideas focused on circular systemic solutions for future-proof regions and healthcare.

  • Facilitates collaboration with relevant societal stakeholders.

  • Stimulates inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation among researchers from the four EWUU partners.

  • The call challenges researchers to address knowledge gaps identified by societal partners, aiming to inspire academic research with societal impact and transformative potential to drive systemic change.

This round, a total of €240,000 will be shared among selected projects to support their development and implementation. A maximum of €40,000 per proposal will be granted.
