Dear Testis Enthusiasts,

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 23rd European Testis Workshop (ETW), this time in the Netherlands! This time we have been selected again as an ANDRONET Meeting. ANDRONET is a COST Action that aims to stimulate research collaboration, education and public awareness in andrology.

The European Testis Workshop is a conference with character. It is a cutting-edge scientific gathering that promises to revolutionize our understanding of male reproductive biology in a pleasant ambience where exchange of views and expertise is stimulated. This exciting event brings together leading experts and innovative researchers from diverse fields to explore the fascinating world of testicular function and spermatogenesis.

The humble testis, once viewed primarily as an endocrine organ facilitating sperm production, has emerged as a complex and dynamic system with far-reaching implications for human health and fertility. Recent technological breakthroughs have opened new frontiers in testicular research, offering unprecedented insights into the intricate molecular landscape that governs male reproduction.

Therefore, for this ETW, we aim to shed a modern light on the testis. Testicular modernism to us, stands for expressing ourselves beyond past views, experimentation, giving young researchers the stage, exploring new concepts, embracing new techniques with a slight hint of absurdity.

All of this combined in a vibrant color palette and expressive forms and shapes.
