You are warmly invited to the

Healthy & Safe Food Systems event

healthy food, trust in food, and emergency preparedness
Monday 26 September 2022 | Omnia, Wageningen Campus

What to expect
During this event you will be updated on the current state of affairs of WUR’s research in this field, and we invite you to contribute to the discussion on the challenges and future challenges our Food System is facing.
Bridging the gap
The global markets are expanding, food is being processed more and more, and the distance is growing between food producers and consumers. Behaviour plays a major role in healthy food consumption and so do other choices affecting health, as well as reliable information on food products and their implications. Global food supply chains have been constantly challenged by various food safety incidents or crises. Traditional approaches on enhancing robustness of the food supply chain are not sufficient to ensure a safe food supply to the society.
Together we can help to bridging the gap between health and nutrition, food safety and sustainability to allow for longer healthy active and vital life.
Who attends?
This event brings together researchers, policymakers, people from NGOs and other stakeholders for an inspiring live onsite event, and will offer ample opportunity to connect and network.
