After the last meeting in beautiful Seville, Spain, you are cordially invited to the 17th International Symposium of the ICPPR Bee Protection Group on "Hazards of pesticides to bees" in Wageningen, The Netherlands. The symposium will be held from February 23rd to 25th, 2027 and will be hosted in the buildings Gaia/Lumen and Omnia on the campus of Wageningen University & Research.

Bee-modelling workshop

Prior to the ICPPR symposium, on February 22nd, there will be a bee-modelling workshop, also held in Gaia/Lumen on Wageningen Campus.

The course introduces three publicly available bee models used in pesticide risk assessments: BeePop+, BEEHAVEecotox/ecoGUTS, and SolBeePopecotox. Through hands-on exercises, participants will learn the basics of running the models and applying them to relevant risk assessment scenarios. The course also provides opportunities to exchange knowledge with model developers. Anyone interested in learning about bee models and their practical applications in pesticide risk assessment can attend.
