About Us

The institute 4 Preventive Health (i4PH) is part of the EWUU alliance, a strategic partnership between TU/e, WUR, UU and UMCU. At the institute 4 Preventive Health, we believe in a transdisciplinary approach to preventive health. Our focus extends beyond one expertise to encompass a wide range of factors that influence overall well-being and disease prevention.

The i4PH strives to promote increased health standards for the entire population of the Netherlands, and how an increased lifespan of at least five years can be achieved. We aim to decrease the health inequality between the lowest and highest socio-economic groups by 30%. We are contributing to these goals by focusing on transdisciplinary research, education and community building.
