Preventive Health Conference 2025

UPSIDE DOWN

Shifting Perspectives on Health in Everyday Places

This conference challenges conventional approaches to health and well-being. In a world where our daily environments—homes, workplaces, schools, and public spaces—play a significant role in shaping our health, it’s time to flip traditional thinking.

Rather than viewing health primarily through the lens of healthcare systems and curative care, Upside Down centers on Preventive Health: how can our everyday spaces be reimagined to actively foster well-being and prevent illness before it starts?

We can’t wait to welcome you there!

Let's flip it around!

Save the Date - November 25 - Jaarbeurs Utrecht

What to Expect?

Upside Down is not your average conference. It brings together a vibrant mix of people from all corners of society—health scientists, students, social researchers, urban planners, architects, public health experts, technologists, and community changemakers. Together, we’ll explore how our surroundings—from city streets to living rooms—can be designed and transformed to support physical, mental, and social wellbeing.

But we’re not just talking theory—we’re getting hands-on. Through dynamic, interactive sessions, we’ll dive into how we can collaborate across disciplines and backgrounds to make real change happen.

The full agenda will be announced after summer.
