The Symposium of Insect-Plant Interactions (SIP) is a leading international conference held every three years, bringing together researchers to explore the complex relationships between insects and plants. The symposium covers ecological, evolutionary, behavioral, and physiological aspects, providing a platform for both fundamental and applied research.

Following the successful 18th edition in Bielefeld (Germany), SIP will return in 2027 to Wageningen, The Netherlands, from Sunday 22 - Thursday 26 August 2027. Fun fact: SIP actually started here 70 years ago, in 1957.

The conference offers an inspiring environment for scientists from around the world, featuring oral presentations and poster sessions. Special attention is given to early-career researchers, with opportunities for networking, mentorship, and travel support. SIP19 promises to be a dynamic and engaging meeting, showcasing the latest advances in insect-plant interaction research.
