What we ask from you during the BSc Open day

 
We are excited that you are interested in helping out at the BSc Open Day!
We can really use everyone’s support, both in preparing for and during the Open Day. However, we do ask a few things of our helpers (especially during the Open Day on Saturday), so please read the information below carefully before signing up.
 
If you enjoy talking to people and making them feel at home, this could be the perfect role for you. We are mainly looking for hospitality helpers who are visible, approachable, and enjoy being among people. This is primarily a front-of-house role, focused on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our visitors.
 
What we expect from you
No matter which role you take on during the Open Day, this is what we expect from everyone:
  • Being approachable, friendly, and visible to visitors
  • Proactively helping visitors if you notice they might need assistance
  • Contributing to a warm, open, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the building
  • Speaking Dutch is strongly preferred
 
What you will be doing
There are a variety of activities and roles you can help with, including:
  • Welcoming prospective students and their parents/ friends
  • Helping with practical tasks, such as serving coffee, assisting in the dishwashing area, or guiding visitors around the building
  • Assisting on the campus grounds by guiding visitors as a wayfinder
