Dear all,

We are delighted to invite you to attend 19th EUCARPIA Meeting on Genetics and Breeding of Capsicum and Eggplant which will take place in Wageningen – The Netherlands. During the conference we offer you the opportunity to visit the state-of-the art research facilities of Wageningen University and Research. In addition we will organize excursions to several high-tech research facilities at or near WUR-campus. The main topics of the conference are: Plant genetic resource management, gene editing, breeding for abiotic stress & resilience, fruit quality & metabolomics, new phenotyping tools & data analysis and breeding for disease- & insect resistance. Apart from the science, visiting The Netherlands also gives you the opportunity to enjoy The Amsterdam Canals, the 18th Century Dutch Windmills at Kinderdijk or to wander around in our National Park with famous musea showing paintings from Rembrandt & Van Gogh.

We are looking forward to welcome you all in Sept 2026 in Wageningen!
