Instructions for Oral Presentations​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Plenary, Divisional and Cross-Divisional Symposia

If you have been invited to give a presentation in a plenary, divisional or cross-divisional symposium, please prepare a presentation of up to 25 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for questions, unless otherwise specified by the chair of the symposium. Please refer to the program booklet (available in July) for more information on the date and time of your presentation. Abstract submission is also required for these types of presentations.

Divisional Contributed Papers Sessions

Other oral presentations will be scheduled in contributed paper sessions and should be no longer than 12 minutes, leaving 3 minutes for questions and discussion. Please refer to the program booklet (available in July) for specific details on the date and time of your presentation.

Uploading Oral Presentations

All presenters are requested to upload/hand-in their Powerpoint presentation at least 24 h before the scheduled time of their talk. Instructions on how to do so will follow as soon as this option becomes available.

Instructions for Posters

Posters will be displayed throughout the entire meeting. They should be approximately 840 mm (2,8 ft) wide by 1190 mm (3.9 ft) (DIN/ISO A0) tall and must have a Portrait (not Landscape) orientation. Include the poster title at the top of your poster and highlight the author presenting the poster. Text should be readable from a distance of 120 cm. A minimum font size of 28 is recommended. Special tape for poster boards will be provided. There will be no facilities at the conference venue for poster printing. {Posters will be on display during the whole meeting. An interactive poster session is scheduled for the Wednesday afternoon. Posters must be removed by noon on Thursday, August 6th; any posters left after this time will be discarded.
