WQN Seminar 2022

 

We are glad to inform you that the Welfare Quality Network seminar of 2022 will take place in Wageningen (at the university campus). It will be an interactive, day-filling program, with interesting speakers, nice networking opportunities, and the chance to share your own current projects and findings. ​

This year’s theme will be “practical application of animal based measures”, with the support from the three EU Reference Centres for Animal Welfare. Other topics on behaviour assessment are also very welcome!​

The seminar will be held on Thursday the 27th of October (Starting at 9:00 a.m.) and the annual meeting for WQN members will be held on Friday the 28th of October (9:00 till 13:00). The host for this year's seminar is the department of Animal Health & Welfare at Wageningen Livestock Research. We would like to welcome you in real life on the campus, but there is also the option to join the seminar via a livestream.​

You can register for the seminar and submit an abstract on this page. Deadline of registration is the 3rd of October.​

Registration is free of charge for WQN members and may be maximum €20,- for non-WQN participants. We are looking for a sponsor, so costs may be lower.

The word limit for the abstract is around 300 words and a title, the topic description, your name and address should be included. ​
