Circular Society Co-Creation Event 2026

The shift from a linear to a circular society is not a choice, it’s a necessity. Our current patterns of production and consumption drive resource depletion, climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss, while also deepening social inequality and geopolitical dependence.

We need bold, collaborative action to turn things around.

Let's Co-Create!

Why co-creation? Because circularity won't happen in silos

The circular transition does not lack ambition, the willingness to work differently is growing. Yet progress stalls. The pieces of the solutions are there but they are scattered across people, organisations and roles that rarely work together. Each holds a piece of the puzzle, yet no single actor has the full picture.

In practice, this means that sustainable alternatives are known but not implemented, data is collected but not shared or translated into decisions, and promising solutions remain stuck in pilots instead of becoming standard practice. As a result, insights remain isolated, opportunities are missed, and progress is slower than it needs to be.

Connecting what belongs together

That is what this day is for. The Circular Society Co-Creation Event brings together researchers, professionals and societal partners from across the EWUU alliance and beyond to do what papers and policy briefs alone cannot: connect perspectives, expose shared patterns and develop new lines of inquiry, together, across domains.

Choose Your Co-Creation Track

The Circular Society Co-Creation Event 2026 brings together researchers, professionals, and societal partners to explore new perspectives on circularity and system transformation. During the Circular Co-Creation Event 2026, all participants join one track of their choice. You will stay with this track throughout the day, allowing you to dive deeper, build shared understanding, and connect with others who share your interest.
