1st WUR Impact Award

This year, the Wageningen University & Research (WUR) Impact Award will be presented for the first time. This award is given to a team of researchers within WUR who have achieved impact with their research by applying knowledge and research results in practice. Among other actions, achieving impact requires intensive dialogue with stakeholders to anticipate on the different perspectives. And this effort is rewarded with the WUR Impact Award at June 10th.

Opinions on society’s major global issues differ widely and benefit from different perspectives. Dialogue can help to make room for these different opinions, insights and interests. Connecting with different disciplines and partners through dialogue can also help you to expand your network, better articulate the needs of clients and stakeholders, and identify need for additional research.
