Breakout sessions
Four breakout sessions will take place as part of the programme:
Breakout session Healthy Start
Exploring Innovative Approaches to Health and Education Equity
Let's explore which lifestyle interventions are most effective for young people with low socio-economic status and other disadvantages. The sessions will examine various initiatives and their impacts. We'll delve into the challenges faced by teenagers with mild intellectual disabilities through the LIFTS project, which engages them in healthy living research. Additionally, you'll discover the innovative PROfeel initiative at the Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis, aiding young patients in managing fatigue and making lifestyle-related improvements. Aristotle Technologies will demonstrate a computerised training tool for children with cognitive challenges. Furthermore, these discussions will focus on the issue of educational inequality, specifically how teacher feedback influences the academic self-perception of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and how it impacts their school performance.
